Distress Oxide Spray – Vintage Photo

Distress Spray Salvaged Patina

First step:  paper, Salvage Patina Spray and brayer

I used the spray nozzle to add ink in a straight line on my work surface.   The wide the line the wider your colored strip will be.

Roll the Brayer in the ink and brayer up and down the paper as close to the same area as possible.  If you stray your strip will be wider.  You may have to re-ink and brayer several times to get the desired color.

Watercolor Paper

Bristol Smooth Paper – I rolled the brayer and the color was not dark enough for me – I added Salvaged Patina Glaze and heat embossed.  I could have added more color and brayered – but I wanted to try the glaze
